The ED Club students recently embarked on an enriching industrial visit to the renowned handloom village in Kuthampully. Known for its traditional weaving practices and exquisite textile craftsmanship, Kuthampully provided the students with an invaluable experience, immersing them in the intricate art of handloom weaving. This visit was coordinated by Ms. Mini M.R. and organized in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), emphasizing the council’s commitment to fostering industry exposure and practical learning among students.

During the visit, students observed the various stages of handloom production, gaining insight into the skilled techniques and cultural heritage that define Kuthampully’s textile industry. The interaction with local artisans offered students a firsthand perspective on the challenges and opportunities in the handloom sector.
