On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), and Red Ribbon Club collaborated with P.K. Das Hospital, Vaniyamkulam, Ottapalam, to host an enlightening awareness session led by Dr. Rameela Sanya. The session aimed to educate the public on the significance of blood donation, dispel common myths, and encourage more people to become regular donors.Dr. Sanya highlighted the health benefits for donors, such as improved cardiovascular health and the satisfaction of contributing to the community’s well-being. The experiences shared by these donors highlight the profound impact of blood donation on both the donors and recipients. Whether a first-time donor or a seasoned advocate, each story underscores the  life-saving potential of this simple act.
