The Department of Mathematics, which began offering the M.Sc. Mathematics course in 2013, plays a vital role in the academic framework of the college. It provides complementary papers for students pursuing B.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Chemistry, and B.A. Economics. Under the leadership of Jibeesh P., the department is committed to academic excellence and student development.

To enhance the learning experience of postgraduate students, the department offers a certificate course on LaTeX for first-semester PG students. LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system widely used for producing scientific and mathematical documents, which is essential for students aiming for careers in academia and research.

The department is also proactive in organizing workshops and seminars to cater to the academic and professional needs of its students. These events are designed to supplement classroom learning, provide exposure to advanced mathematical concepts, and keep students updated with the latest developments in the field.
