The Anti-Narcotic Club, in association with the NCC of our college, organized an impactful awareness session on the mental health consequences of drug abuse. The class was led by Rajmohan C., Assistant Excise Inspector from the Excise Circle Office, Ottapalam. His insightful presentation highlighted the severe effects of drug addiction on mental well-being, including anxiety, depression, and cognitive impairment. He emphasized how substance abuse can lead to long-term psychological damage, disrupt social relationships, and hinder academic or career progress. Through real-life examples and his experience in the field, Rajmohan C. urged students to stay away from drugs and be vigilant about peer influence. He also shed light on how drug abuse not only impacts individuals but also families and society. The session concluded with a strong message of seeking help early and promoting a drug-free environment, leaving students more aware and committed to the cause.
